Lin Cheung – Tang Prize Medal Design Finalist

Year 3 Tutor Lin Cheung was one of 10 finalists nominated to propose designs for the Tang Prize medals. Her designs – inspired by nanogold particles; interaction with students, scholars, teachers and professors of Law at LSE and sinologists at SOAS – proposed the use of Fairtrade Gold for the making of the medals. The Tang Prize is billed as the ‘Asian Nobel Prize’ and laureates will be awarded gold medals for revolutionary research and achievements in the four major fields of Sustainable Development, Sinology, Biopharmaceutical Science and The Rule of Law.
