Congratulations to final years Zuleika Penniman, Tiffany Baehler, Leonid Dementiev, Sarah Howson and Lola Lou for winning the opportunity to have their gemstone ring designs realised by goldsmiths at Theo Fennell. Students submitted drawings and designs of rings that considered and celebrated one of five gemstones selected by Theo Fennell.

Second year students have been working over several months on a live project with Freedom for Topshop. The project culminated last week with the judging event at CSM. All of the students have developed a range of designs and prototypes. A panel of judges including jewellery designers from Freedom, buyers from Topshop and fashion journalists, selected five finalists – Johanna Galefske, Lilli Murphy-Johnson, Evie Armstrong Clarke, Laila Hmiddouche and Ella Stern. Evie was selected as the overall winner and will have her designs put into production and sold through Topshop stores around the country and internationally. There will be a launch event to coincide with London fashion week and a display inspired by Evie’s jewellery will be created for a window in Topshop’s flagship Oxford Street store.
